Which hybrid inverters is this protection panel compatible with?

The panel is designed for single-phase hybrid inverters and connects via quick-terminal wiring to the inverter's backup (EPS) output. It is compatible with any single-phase hybrid inverter whose backup line does not exceed 20 kW.

Is this panel enough for a 15 kW solar system?

Yes, the panel is rated for systems up to 20 kW, so a 15 kW installation is well within its capacity. The built-in 100 A 1P+N circuit breaker supports that load on a single-phase supply.

What protections are included out of the box?

The panel includes a 100 A 1P+N MCB, a 30 mA Type A RCD and a Type II AC surge protective device (SPD). Together they protect against overcurrent, earth leakage and voltage transients from the grid.

Why is a Type A RCD required instead of a standard Type AC?

Type A RCDs detect both alternating and pulsating DC residual currents, which are common in installations with inverters and electronic loads. This makes them the correct choice under current electrical standards for PV and hybrid systems.

What is included in the box when the order arrives?

The panel arrives fully assembled with the 100 A 1P+N MCB, 30 mA Type A RCD, Type II AC SPD and terminals ready for inverter connection. No additional protection components are needed for the backup line.

Does this panel need to be installed by a certified electrician?
